 Work Projects

There are various work project options that may be selected at the discretion of each volunteer or group. It is the responsibility of volunteer group leaders to make the appropriate contacts and insure work projects are available for volunteers in their group (A list of these organizations will be provided to you.)  Please discuss with the designated contact at these organizations any tools, supplies or equipment that are needed for the project, and whether or not they will be provided for you,  or whether you will need to bring them.

(Note:  If work projects are needed in the community around Camp Hope, Karen Parker may request assistance from available volunteers for assistance with those projects.)

ALL VOLUNTEERS AND GROUPS SHOULD PLAN TO HAVE THEIR OWN WORK ARRANGED WITH ONE OR MORE OF THESE ORGANIZATIONS BEFORE DEPARTURE TO CAMP HOPE.

Warning:  For all volunteers considering community work projects workers, some properties may have mold. Appropriate safety pre-cautions should be taken; volunteers with allergies should avoid working at properties with mold.  Volunteers working in those areas should bring with them their own safety equipment (respirators & filters, gloves, safety glasses, boots, etc.)
